Questions about Sofft

Short answers about how Sofft works, who it's for, and when it's coming.

What is Sofft?

Sofft is a social app where you get to know someone before you see their face. Profiles are built from written and voice prompts, interests, and photos that don't show a face, so personality comes first.

How does a face-free profile work?

You answer prompts in writing or by voice and add photos of your life that don't show your face. When you upload a photo it is checked automatically, and if a face is likely in it, the photo is rejected before anyone else can see it.

When do faces show up?

Not on profiles. After two people match and both say yes to a date, they can share photos of themselves in their chat. Until then, faces stay hidden.

Is Sofft available yet?

Not yet. Sofft isn't in the App Store yet, and we're trying to get the word out fast, starting in Madison, Wisconsin. Join the waitlist and we'll invite you when the app goes live.

How do I join the waitlist?

Use the waitlist on the home page: enter your email and pick Madison or somewhere else. After you join, you can share your link, and the more friends you invite, the sooner we'll reach out.

Which phones will Sofft run on?

iPhone first. Android is planned, and the Google Play button on the home page says coming soon.

Who can use Sofft?

Anyone 18 or older. Sofft is not for people under 18, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.

Is Sofft free?

Sofft is free to download. Two optional upgrades add extras: Sofft Premium, a monthly or yearly subscription you can cancel any time in your App Store settings, and Sofft Premium Lifetime, a one-time purchase that never renews.

What do Sofft Premium and Sofft Premium Lifetime include?

Both unlock the same extras: unlimited swipes, rewind, and seeing who liked you. The only difference is how you pay: Sofft Premium renews every month or year until you cancel, and Sofft Premium Lifetime is paid once.

How do you keep people safe?

Everyone must be 18 or older, photos are checked automatically, and anyone can report or block another person at any time. Reports are reviewed, and accounts that break the rules may be removed.

Can I delete my account and my data?

Yes. In the app, open Settings and choose Delete My Account. It deletes your profile, matches, messages and photos from our active systems; the one thing we keep is reports about a user's conduct. Details are in the Privacy Policy, and you can also send a privacy request.

Who makes Sofft?

Sofft is made by Hauben Labs, Inc. in the United States. Questions? Email sofftsupport@gmail.com.
